Third edition of the “Concert for the Understanding of Civilizations and Human Rights” which, as the previous edition, will be in charge of maestro Daniel Barenboim and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra.
After the magnificent reception of the previous two editions of the "Concert for the Understanding of Civilisations and Human Rights", next december will be the third one.
On this occasion it will be again the acclaimed director Daniel Barenboim the one who will take the artistic centre stage at the event, which is planned for the 10th December 2016 and will be staged, as the preceding one, in Room XX of the United Nations.
Daniel Barenboim is the co-founder of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, that brings together musicians from Israel, Palestine and other Arab countries who gather to perform music and promote reflection and understanding.
The concert will be followed by a gala dinner for 400 guests at the Intercontinental Hotel of Geneva, prepared by the reputed chef James Berckemeyer.
