Winner of the Obuklova All-Russia Competition for Young Singers prize

Sergey Artamonov graduated from the Rachmaninov College of Music in Kaliningrad (2001) and shortly after entered the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory. In the Conservatory Opera Theatre, Sergey Artamonov sang King Rene in Iolanta and Gremin in Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky.

Since 2003, the singer has worked in the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow.

He has also performed in La Scala, Milan, Arena di Verona, La Fenice, Venice, Teatro Comunale, Bologna, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, Valencia, Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, China.
