The Tunisian soprano of international projection
Yosra Zekri, the young Tunisian soprano and also interpreter of Maghreb and contemporary music, is a young promise that is consolidating a promising race in the international scope.
Yosra Zekri is a soprano that also interprets music magrebí and contemporary. He won the First Prize of the Tunisian National Competition for the best opera voice in 2010 and the Third Prize at the International Lyric Song Competition of Vivonne, France in 2013. In 2011 he obtained his diploma in lyric singing by the Higher Institute of Music Of Tunisia and the Master in music research and musicology.
In 2016 he recorded his first contemporary CD in Copenhagen, with the poems of Prince Henric of Denmark, composed by Frederik Magle and Eric Sprogis, accompanied by the Danish Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Eric Sprogis.
His program for the Mediterranean Concert was: the song “Dido”, which deals with Queen Didon of Carthage, and “Trab Bledi” (my homeland), which sings to Tunisia after the revolution.
