Art ennobles cultures, dignifies projects, and brings to the surface the deepest of the human being. It is on this basis that the Onuart Foundation promoted the renovation of Room XX of the Palace of Nations and provided one of the best painters of this 21st century, Miquel Barceló, and the possibility of crowning it with a great work in his dome.
The beauty of what was achieved led the Secretary General to baptize the room with the name of “Human Rights Room and the Alliance of Civilizations”, two capital pillars of a world that overcomes divisions and conflicts and advances to focus only on man , a world that is articulated under the concept of “One Humanity”.
In this effort to promote projects that unite art and world governance, the Onuart Foundation has organized the World Human Rights Concert since 2014 in this iconic hall on the occasion of the Universal Human Rights Day, aspiring to create a must-see event in favor of the Peace and human rights.
Great musicians like Daniel Barenboim, Pretty Yende, Juan Diego Flores, Erin Wall, Fatma Said, Huiling Zhu or Leo Nuci have starred in them and today we have the great figure of Gregory Sokolov. We would like this concert for its uniqueness and through the audiovisual media to reach many corners of the world.
